Region II Meeting Coming to Bedford

Bedford County PSA will be the location of our Region II Meeting that will take place on February 29, 2012. The program will consist of a presentation on Asset Management Planning for Small to Medium Communities. Wayne Francisco with GHD will be the speaker. Lunch is sponsored by GHD and will follow the meeting. Please pre-register so that we can plan accordingly. VRWA will award 3 CPE's for those who attend.

VDOT Basic Work Zone Safety Course

A VDOT Basic Work Zone Traffic Control class will be held February 9th in Buena Vista at our VRWA office. This course provides training needed to properly install work zones to perform daily maintenance or short term operations. Seating will be limited. Short for "Identity Theft Red Flags" and Address Discrepancies Under the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003. The rule requires any entity where there is a risk of identity theft to develop and implement an identity theft program. The program must include reasonable policies and procedures for detecting, preventing, and mitigating identity theft.
