"Quality on Tap"
is a nationwide, grassroots public relations and awareness campaign for the drinking water industry. Many have worked to create the framework of the campaign and are now asking you and many, many more to help breathe life into it.The campaign is the product of the thoughts and minds of people from different backgrounds from all across the nation. Water utility staff, directors and customers, state and rural water associations, National Rural Water Association and countless others worked together to create "Quality on Tap." What these folks have in common with each other and with you is first and foremost an intense desire that America’s public water systems continue to provide the highest quality drinking water possible. Second only to that is the desire that people know about it. That is what fuels this campaign.
A Little About This Kit!!
This kit is a very important part of the "Quality on Tap" campaign. It contains tolls to help water systems take care of a very important job - spreading the truth to make the public aware of the quality of work they do and water they produce.
Included in the kit is several different sections that are divided by tabbed sheets. The sections feature examples with instructions for tried and true public relations tools, successful tools water systems around the nation are using in their communities and water districts. The sections include; new releases, newsletters, bills stuffers, "water quizzes", a selection of "Quality on Tap" logos for reproduction, school exercises, door hangers and designs for decals and stickers. New sections and campaign support material will be available frequently through our state association so there is plenty of room for the kit to grow.
This kit and all other current and future campaign materials work to promote a common theme. Also, throughout the kit you will notice the rural water "Quality on Tap" logo that gives the campaign its identity.
