This class provides an in-depth look at PFAS compounds and endocrine disruptors that are contaminants in wastewater which operators will be expected to treat to meet state and federal standards. The class will be based on a presentation written by leading microbiologist Toni Glymph. Operators will learn what the contaminants are, the reason they are a concern and ways to remove them from effluent discharge.
