We would like to invite you to the 33rd VRWA Annual Conference and Technical Exhibition. We are excited to be getting together again for an in-person event.
Not only will we be together, but we have some great activities for you.
As usual we will be having a Monday class offered as an extra activity to the regular conference days. This year we will have 2 great options -
Water - Managing the Impact of PFAS and LCRR on Your Facility (6 Water CPEs)
Come learn about PFAS and LCRR, upcoming changes and rules. Learn how to interact with the public about such volatile and touchy subjects. Bring your questions to our panel of experts.
Wastewater - Wastewater Microbiology & Process Control (6 WW CPEs)
Learn how to optimize the WW treatment plant processes using knowledge of WW microbiology. Learn new techniques and gain greater understanding of phosphorus in treatment.
Taught by Toni Glymph-Martin a nationally known microbiologist with numerous years in the WW field and with international awards and recognition.
Tuesday, April 26, VRWA will have our first ever Women in Rural Water Luncheon with guest speaker - Toni Glymph-Martin. This is a ticketed event, so make sure to select the option to attend if you are a woman and attending on Tuesday, April 26th. There is no extra cost.
Also during conference, we have a time for awarding those that have done a great job and helped promote "Quality on Tap". We ask that you take some time to consider who you know that deserves to be recognized. Please send in your nominations for awards and recognition.
